Eleanor Jacquelyn Davis Hall was a commercial student at the Woman's College of The University of North Carolina (now UNC Greensboro) from 1956-1957. During her year here, she witnessed the start of the Suez Canal Crisis, the election of President Eisenhower, and a small fire in the Mary Foust dormitory. In correspondence with her husband, Teddy Hall, she describes the every-day life of women on campus, including campus events, dining options, and leisure activities. She often writes about house meetings in her dorm. During her time as a student, Davis was an active member of College Park Baptist Church in Greensboro, NC.
